North Shore Hebrew Academy High School says about Kosherlat |
|
Over 30 students of North Shore Hebrew Academy High School visited Argentina in November, 2011. They were hosted by Valeria Duek, director of Kosherlat.
"On behalf of all of us at North Shore Hebrew Academy HS in Great Neck, N.Y. allow me to extend my sincerest thank you for providing our students with one of the most exceptional experiences of their HS careers. The feedback regarding the Argentina trip has been nothing short of awesome.
I understand after hearing the details of the trip from the students that everything was exactly how we wanted it to be. The program clearly combined all the finest elements of an outstanding educational as well as social experience. Our students learned a great deal about Jewish life in Argentina while still feeling very much at home. From the administrative side I must tell you that it was an absolute pleasure dealing with you.
Every detail was professionally executed - a customer service dream !!!!
Again, thank you so much for providing our students with this exceptional opportunity." Dr. Daniel Vitow, Principal of North Shore Hebrew Academy High School
"We have just returned from the most marvelous educational experience in
Buenos Aires. With 40 kids from a Jewish High School in New York, we enjoyed the most unforgettable journey. We visited fascinating local and Jewish sites, shared activities with Argentinian Jewish teens and
the community at large, tasted delicious kosher food. Valeria has proven to be not only a delightful and knowledgeable guide, but she has been consistently attuned to each of our needs, efficient to the extreme, caring and helpful without exception. She even became a good friend to all us. We are extremely grateful for this most unique program and cannot wait to go back." Gabriela Rozanski, Coordinator of International Travel Program and chaperon.
"I really enjoyed visiting the different schools because I got to meet
kids my age who lived in a completely different country with a
completely different culture yet to my surprise we shared many
similarities and I made bonds I hope to maintain forever." Ruthy Freilich, student, participant of the Argentina trip
"My experience in Argentina was fantastic! Valeria truly made it an
unbelievable trip. Everything was taken care of so well; whether it was
when and where we were going to eat, having the bus come on time, or
even if we needed an extra bed in the hotel. I truly felt like a local
while visiting the fascinating amazements. I wouldn’t ever go their any
other way."
